My name is Susan Stahley, and I have over 10 years experience researching families. I began researching in Northampton County, Pennsylvania, then moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, and have been researching in Cattaraugus County for over 10 years.   I run a full service family history research business.  

I am fortunate to know my way around the courthouses in Western New York.   The only courthouse I do not research in is Erie County, New York, but I do go to the Buffalo and Erie County Public Library and research the Birth, Marriage and Death index.

I make trips to Washington, DC, for military records. If you need a pension record, or had a New York State Regt. Civil War Veteran, please let me know.

I also have a database with over 20000 names from the Surrogate Court files I have been abstracting. If you ask me to research for you, I will look through my Surrogate Court database and the "Cattaraugus County, New York Surrogate Court Abstract: Guardianship Edition" index.

Other services we provide for our customers are tombstone photography, census records and newspaper research.  We can also research at several historical societies to help with your family history.
